TEN  COMMANDMENTS

Added in honor of The OT - dated Chapter Jethro, 5771/2011.

I.

(I am -

אנוכי

ANOCHI).

The way to bring down the kingdom of heaven is not by adjusting heaven but rather adjusting oneself in diminishment and in humbling arrogance/authority.

Once having mastered that, the kingdom will in essence be established and the other 9 commandments will intrinsically be unnecessary by dint of being automatically fulfilled through obvious and self goodness!

VI.

No murder, killing, slaughtering, harm,  etc.

While we don't know what murder really means (only the murdered and G-d knows) and it indeed might be beneficial, we in this life still must mete out physical justice to the perpetrator.

II.

No idols

This refers to the fact that although no one knows the truth regarding the probability of creation of the universe, albeit what we do know is that humanity certainly didn't create it, we nevertheless behave/act/conduct ourselves as if we were the creators - we own (LOL), we authorize, we give, etc.

Although we do a service by taking charge as if we did indeed own everything. However, this in fact helps in avoiding chaos - something we need!

This is in conjunction with the 10th Commencement of not coveting - It's not ours anyhow.

VII.

No Adultery, unnatural sexual activity, debauchery, etc.

This commandment is the most difficult one to understand. It involve the modern day dilemma of abortions and gay activity.

There are esoteric reasoning in order to fathom this conundrum and paradox.

It is best to leave it alone and for each person to reconcile it with their conscience.

III.

No taking G-d's name in vain or its frivolous use.

This includes the common phrase OMG, or "thanking G-d where clearly man is involved. These words are actually a vain form of praise. One is to be careful and mindful of this.

VIII.

No stealing, thieving, robbing, purloining, kidnapping,  etc.

This commandment can be in almost any form. Such as excessive use of needs, misuse of possessions, living ostentatiously, earning $1,00 and spending $5.00, etc.

Not to forget from where everything originated.

We are not creators but merely  laborers and users.

IV.

Keep, remember, protect the Sabbath.

The above 4 commandments are between G-d and man.

The other 6 below are between man and man.

With the exception of the 10th commandment which includes both.

IX.

No lying, cheating, misleading, deceitfulness, deception,  etc.

This applies mainly under oath as well as to each other.

V.

Honor and fear your parents.

As much as we young ones think that we know it all and old people are are to be thought of as has been, we must not forget 2 important facts:

1.  It is the parents who gave us life and the ability to achieve all the benefits we reap, for better or for worse and for them to be grateful.

2. Life experience - not necessarily the modern technology - maturity, the meaning of ending of life, puts them in a very knowledgeable position in knowing what the result of their life has been.

These 2 points are ultimately what life's result will be and is worthy of fear and respect!

X.

No jealousy, Coveting, envying, etc.

Covered in essence in the 2nd commandment.

THOUGHTS ON EGYPT, TUNISIA, ALGERIA, LIBYA UPRISING
GOOD BAD
dictatorships on the wane using force ( mob rule, anger ) instead of democracy.
will of the people feels good people's power ie. democracy as in USA leads to corruption
world opens up for globalization not enough for all the people in terms of  goods & services
natural human progress poor control of government work force
fairness and  faith in people's ability to know right from wrong religion failing when people take over

1. Dictators can't have their little individual countries anymore.

2. Diversity in unity is a double edge sword.
